New Portal release May 15th, 2018
The Sorama Portal will be updated on May 15th between 17.00h and 18:00 (UTC +01:00).
This release contains improvements for the Measurement Workflow and Manage Workflow. For the Analysis Workflow, a new type of analysis is introduced: Time Analysis.
Measurement Workflow: Delay Function
When you need some time in between clicking Measure and the start of a measurement. Just click the Delay button and it will buy you some time.
Manage Workflow: Export directly to old portal
Export your measurements to do analysis in the old portal environment. You can do a beamforming, stationary holography or transient holography measurement . Most beamforming analysis is already done in the Stream Portal. Holography measurements can now directly be exported with one click.
Analyse Workflow: Directional Analysis and Time Analysis
From your Far Field Analysis, you can now select specific directions on which to perform new analysis. For example, determine and compare the frequency spectrum in two different directions. You can find out if a frequency peak (or range of frequencies) is originating from source A or source B.
Export the frequency spectrum to CSV, so you can compare results in Excel as well.
Instantly analyze time signals using Time Analysis. Choose separate microphone channels or specific directions from your Directional Analysis. Export to WAV and listen back to in different directions. Listening to your results will enable you to perceive the differences. Very helpful to demonstrate results to any audience.
The changes require an updated version of the Sorama Acquisition Service. This means that you will have to update the acquisition service after May 15th in order to be able to use the Sorama Portal. If you need to use the Portal after the 15th but you have not been able to update the acquisition service yet, please contact us for an intermediate solution.
The Sorama Portal will be offline on May 15th between 17.00h and 18:00. Please contact us if this time is inconvenient for you.
We hope you will enjoy the new improvements and appreciate your feedback!
